If you are interested in gardening, self reliance, and or history then you may enjoy this book. Full of a details, pictures, good facts and information, I really enjoyed this book. Another good book by the Shire Library is The History Of The Cottage Garde|About the Author|Susan Campbell is a consultant and lecturer on walled kitchen gardens, having researched their history for many years. She has visited more than five hundred gardens and written many books on the subject, including A History of Kitchen Gardens.
